Advance Reservations

Self check in begins at 1PM mountain time follow the instructions sent to you via email eRL Smart Lock System Works on day of arrival and to strait to your room and enjoy the fresh air of Ruidoso, NM.

Note: Press the [SCHLAGE] oval button to turn on the keypad backlight if necessary.

USING THE 10-DIGIT ACCESS CODE TO UNLOCK:
1. Enter the above 10-digit Access Code. Each digit must be entered within 10 seconds.
2. After hearing the ascending tone and while the [SCHLAGE] oval button flashing green light, please turn the lock lever within 5 seconds to unlock the door.

CREATE YOUR OWN 3 – 6 DIGIT PERSONALIZED CODE:
1. Choose a 3-6 digit Personalized Code to use during your stay.
2. Enter the above 10-digit Access Code.
3. After hearing the ascending tone and while the [SCHLAGE] oval button flashing green light, immediately (within 10 seconds) press the [SCHLAGE] oval button and key-in the 3-6 digit Personalized Code of your choice, then press the [SCHLAGE] oval button to finalize your own personal code.
Note:
a. Each digit must be entered within 10 seconds.
b. If your Personalized Code has been used by other user, you will hear the descending tone and see the [SCHLAGE] oval button flashing red. In this case, please try a new Personalized Code.

USING YOUR OWN PERSONALIZED CODE TO UNLOCK:
1. Enter your own Personalized Code. Each digit must be entered within 10 seconds.
2. Press the [SCHLAGE] oval button.
3. After hearing the ascending tone and while the [SCHLAGE] oval button flashing green light, please turn the lock lever within 5 seconds to unlock the door.

Self checkout at 10:59 AM mountain time

Self checkout make sure you have all your belongings, turn off heater/ AC, turn off lights and make sure you close the door and have a safe trip

Deposits / Cancellation Fees

1. Full payment due 48 hours prior to arrival and is non refundable at this point.

2. If credit card is declined we will cancel your reservation immediately

3. Make sure you use the same email upon booking that you have access to while traveling so you can receive your self check in access code via email.  All self check in access codes will be sent out on the morning of arrival if you do not receive the access code by      noon please call our office before 5pm mountain time 575-257-4031.

Pet Policy   NO PETS ALLOWED IN CONDO/APARTMENTS

The West Winds Lodge loves dogs but, unfortunately, cannot accept all breeds, nor can we place those that we accept in all of our units. We must keep most of our lodge units free of pet hair as they can trigger an allergic reaction in some guests. Thank you for your understanding. Smaller and/or older dogs are accepted under the following conditions:

  • Pets must be approved prior to guest arrival by West Winds Lodge & Condos management.
  • If a pet has not been approved by us we will charge your card the $25.00 fee per night per pet you have stayed with us.
  • You may be asked to vacate the property with no refund if a pet is present without consent.
  • A $25.00 per night per pet (max 2) charge is applicable on all approved pets.
  • Any damage to rooms caused by pets is the responsibility of the pet owner.
  • Any excretory related messes in the room are the responsibility of the pet owner and a deep cleaning fee up to $200.00 will be charged to your credit card
  • Pets will be kept on a leash at all times.
  • Pets are not allowed into or near the office at any time.
  • Pets cannot be left unattended in the room at any time.
  • Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture at any time for any reason.
  • Barking dogs will not be tolerated and guests will be asked to vacate if the pet becomes a nuisance to other guests.
  • Pet owners are responsible for picking up all pet waste. Plastic bags are available in the office.
  • Pet waste to be deposited in a dumpster at Eagle Drive and North Street.
